Information

The Friend of the Court office deals with families and children who are involved in a civil action.

Services Provided

  • Enforcement of custody, parenting time & child support orders

  • Informal mediation

  • Child support reviews

  • Conciliation

  • Supervised visitation program

This list may not be all-inclusive; any questions can be directed to the  above number.

Child support payments are received and receipted by the Michigan State Disbursement Unit (MISDU) in Lansing. A check is then mailed to the payee or funds are electronically transferred to a payee's bank account by MISDU.

To check on child support payments you may call 1-877-543-2660. When  calling this number for the first time you will need to set up a PIN number. You should have your social security number and court docket number available for the first time call. Please have a four digit number  in mind for the PIN number you will be setting up. If you have set a PIN number in the past and have forgotten it, please call our office and we can send you the form to set up a new number.

Our goal is to get child support for children and to get both parents involved in their children's life.
