Appointment Committee
The Appointment Committee is
responsible for making appointments to boards,
commissions, and committees as required by Michigan law
or County policy where appointment authority is vested
in this committee. The committee reviews vacancies,
considers qualified applicants, and makes appointments
in accordance with applicable statutory requirements and
established County procedures.
The Appointment
Committee consists of the Probate Judge, Prosecuting
Attorney, and County Clerk.
The committee does
not hold regular meetings. Meetings are convened only as
necessary when appointments are required due to
vacancies, term expirations, or other circumstances
requiring action.
